Particularly interesting is where the female surnames have been crossed through and replaced with what would appear to be their married names.

The children of the late James Williamson deceased are Bessie who died 5 April 1889 aged 21, Lucy who died 9 June 1891 aged 18, William who died 11 June 1883 over 21 and testate.

The children living are Dinah (not mentioned in the will of deceased) Annie and Isabella.

Is there any part of the Estate falling to the Estate of the Estate of the deceased for Will? I want to know to guide me in completing the ??? of the Estate of Will.

We the undersigned John Clark and John Brown Kay (the Executors of the Will of the late William Williamson) and Isabella Williamson, Annie Williamson FRYER, Margaret Jane Williamson WILSON and Dinah Williamson hereby acknowledge that we have examined the foregoing account and find the same correct and we have each this twentieth day of December 1893, received from the Executors of the late John Woodburn deceased, who was the Executor under the Will of Samuel Coward of Ulverston Hairdresser deceased the respective amounts shown by such foregoing account as our shares in the estate of the late Samuel Coward deceased by reason of the death of the late Lucy Williamson deceased under the age of 21 years without being married and that such respective sums are in full satisfaction and discharge of all our respective claims and demands under the Will of the said Samuel Coward deceased and against his estate and the said Executors arising by reason of the death of the said Lucy Williamson deceased as aforesaid.

Sir,

In answer to yours of this morning with reference to my late nephew W Williamson he died June 1884 or 1885. I am not quite certain aged 24. Bessie Williamson died April 5th 1889, aged 21 years and a few months.

Isabella Williamson, living now at 6 Brythen Street, Liverpool.

Annie Williamson’s present address, New Street, Broughton in Furness, Lancashire.

Margaret Jane Williamson now with her uncle Mr Woodbourne, Sunderland Terrace, Ulverston.

There is an elder sister would she be entitled to share with the others.
